Sound Mixing from Point Break

In the lesson we had to add sound effects to the clips from point break, I decided to add sounds to make it sound as realistic as possible. I added running footsteps as well as thud noises for when the character would land on the ground during the chase scene. In addition to these sounds, I added the classic 'Wilhelm scream' sort of as a comic relief, which takes away from the tension. I used this to reference other action adventure films that will sometimes add the Wilhelm scream to a serious fight scene, for example, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Ring.
